Reply with quote | #1 | So who do you like? Yankee$, who have home field advantage, or the Phillies?
I'm picking the Yankee$ but rooting for the Phillies.

Same with me. I will root for the Phillies but I can't see them winning against the 215 million dollar Evil Empire. |

Reply with quote | #6 | I will root for the Phillies but predict a NYY win. Get ready to hear more praise for "The Captain" and a Canyon of Heroes parade |

The Yankees are playing way better than they were in May.

Seems to me the Phils were struggling during the summer and almost lost their division lead. Just as a rough guide, after that series the Phils went 69-51, a respectable .575 winning percentage, just about what they had done previously (.571) while the Yankees went 78-40, a torrid .661, after starting .568. Since the All-Star break, the Phils went 45-31 (.592), while the Yankees went 52-22 (.703). __________________ Let me explain. No, there is no time. Let me sum up. |

Reply with quote | #12 | Kind of depends on which ex-Indian Cy Young is hotter. I think the balance of the Yankee lineup matches up better against Lee and Hamels than the Phillie lefties do against Sabathia and Pettitte. I'll pick the Yanks in 7, and hope that my dismal record of picking winners continues... |

Reply with quote | #13 | The Orioles swept the Phillies in Philly in June.
NY $$$$$$$$ go farther than Philly $$$. Yanks in 5.

Reply with quote | #15 | Yes its only one game but if they keep this up, Yanks don't stand a chance. Stud pitcher and players! What will it take for the O's to build a team like this. |
