I'm willing to be that he's a "real Yankee" now!

But if I'm the Angels, I don't ever let Brian Fuentes face him again.  2-3 with 2 HR is not the kind of record I would mess with.

Yes, he's certainly "real" now.

I'm glad the DP call in the tenth didn't matter in the end...

Oh yeah... The real kicker (especially from Kerry's perspective) is that A-Rod's HR came on an 0-2 pitch.

This is the kind of thing ARod has been doing all year.  He's really relaxed and enjoying himself, and not worrying about anything outside of baseball.  Apparently a big reason (other than having Tex in front of him in the lineup) for the turnaround is that he dropped Madonna's publicist, who had been working on his "image."  Good move.

And all this coming after the hip surgery that threatened the entire season.

This "real Yankee" drivel really makes me sick.  Where's Mr. Barfy when you need him?

What gets me is that Fuentes didn't really miss his spot...the catcher called for a pitch up and away.  I'm not sure if the Angels are aware that fifty million homers have been hit to RF in the new Yankee stadium...just unreal.

I still don't know what Izturis was thinking on that fatal play.
